I bought the disney cars because my son is a cars fanatic. His birthday is in a week and I wanted to make invitations with it. I was very disappointed that you cannot make smaller versions of the cars. There is just to much detail to get them right. Even at 5 inches its a challenge.
Tina et.al.: After purchasing the Cars cartridge, I thought I had made an expensive mistake. However, after purchasing the ink cartridges, I now have Cricut draw the car, then cut it. Now I can see the detail and am able to work with the cutout, even at a mere 2 or so inches. Try it…I’m sure you’ll be happy with the cartridge after using the inks.
I bought the Cars cartridge as well. I’m having trouble assembling the Sheriff character. There are so many details, even at 5 inches. I cut the shadow in black and the most of the pieces are in black. The actual picture is so small. I’m just guessing on how to assemble it. Any tips?
