wonder what the multi cut 5 etc means – e.g. does it take 5 run throughs with the blade to cut thicker chipboard etc. thanks – carlene
The 5 in the above picture is just the manual setting for the blade depth. If you have an Expression or Create, there is a Multi-Cut Function that will run through your project several times in order to cut thicker items. The Deep Cut Housing and Blade is better for cutting thicker objects….otherwise, you will just wear out your regular blade extra fast.
Will the deep cut blade fit in the regular housing that comes with the CRICUT machine?
No, you have to buy the blade housing also.
Can you use the Deep cut housing with regular needles? My green housing is broken and I can’t find a replacement one.
