Original Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter
Cuts from 1″ to 5.5″ tall or 11.5″ long. The Personal Cutter uses a 6 inch by 12 inch cutting mat. It will cut paper, card stock, vellum, vinyl, and even thin plastics. The Cricut Personal Cutter also accepts all existing Cricut cartridges. Due to it’s smaller foot print, the Personal Cutter is the ideal machine to take with your you or to move around it around your workspace. The personal cutter is also cheaper to buy than the Expression machine.
Cricut Expression 24″ Personal Electronic Cutter
The Cricut Expression will make cuts from 0.25″ to 23.5″. It uses a 12 x 12 inch cutting mat or the 12 x 24 inch cutting mat. The Expression will cuts paper, card stock, chipboard, vinyl, vellum, posterboard, and thin plastics. It will accepts all existing Cricut cartridges. The Expression will cost you a little more to buy.
Cricut Create
The cricut create is the newest cricut machine. It combines many of the features of the Cricut Expression, into a machine the size of the original cricut machine. The Cricut Create includes the DonJuan cartridge.
