Does the Design Studio work with the Cricut Create?

Question:

I am considering purchasing the Cricut Create and I see you can only purchase it from Michael’s Craft Stores, why is that? Also, does the Design Studio work with the Cricut Create? I see the original and expression but no mention of Create.

Answer:

Yes, the Design Studio software will work with the Cricut Create.

I am not sure why Michaels is the only store allowed to sell the Cricut create, but I believe it will very soon be available to other retailers as well. It was probably more of an introductory deal with Cricut and Michaels.

    I recently got the cricut create and the design studio software.. but i can’t get the software to work with my cricut and now my cricut won’t even work at all!! if anyone know’s how to get this to work please email me at kkareenk@yahoo.com thanks

    I would highly suggest calling the number for support, usually it is a fairly simple matter. However, if not it is better to contact them right away in case you have a defective product.

    Hi – yes, I had the same trouble. Went to the website and tried to make sense of it all. Then called the number, they were VERY helpful, unfortunately, after doing everything they told me to do, we couldn’t get it going. I had to go back to work and we didn’t have any solution. Finally gave up… I think it was my computer. It was an older laptop. (was XP OS) Possibly not enough RAM memory. Then got a new Vista OS after Xmas. Runs like a charm. Took me over a year to get the job done – I kept putting it off in frustration. You may need newer equipment – I don’t know.
