Is there a border Cricut Cartridge?

“Is there a border cartridge for cricut?”

That is a great question.

There is no particular cartridge that only does borders, however lots of the cartridges have borders as creative features. If you want to make 12″ border (like a standard sheet of paper) you have to have the Cricut expression.

I do think it’s a great idea for Cricut to do, I bet it would be a big hit.

Ok, but I have the Expression and can’t figure out how to set it to print a particular border at 12″. Can you set it to print something 11.5″ x 2″ for example???

I also am trying to cut the grass on the plantin schoolbook cartridge about 1″x12″ and can’t figure out how to make it work. Seems like it should do it.

The reason they won’t do just one cartridge is because it makes you buy more cartridges. They make more money that way.

I was able to cut a 12″ border with my expression. You have to use the 12×24″ mat. Put the paper down an inch or two and then load into the machine. Hit “Mat size” and make sure it is on 12×24. Scroll the cutter to the edge of the paper and then hit “Set paper size.” Next press “Fit to length” and change the dial to read 12.25″ or so. Press “Cut” and you are done!
