Joys of the Season Setting Question

As a new Cricut owner/user, I have a question regarding the Joys of the Season cartridge. When using the CARD function, what setting do you use to cut the LAYERS function and get them the same size? I cut a card using the 5 1/2 inch setting then tried measuring the cut-out portion for the layers but the cut-out measurement was not true to any of the 1/4″ increment settings of the machine. Is there a “magic” ratio that will work?

    I have had the same problem with the Doodlecharms cartridge. When I try and make a tag the foundation is a different size than the tag even though I set it for the same size as the tag I’ve cut. Would love to know if there are others with the same problem and/or if there is a way to fix the problem.

    have you tried using the “real dial size” button?

    Also, if you look on the cricut.com website it will give you all kinds of tips and tricks for the different cartridges.

    Yes Ihave run into that problem several times with the potpourri basket cartridge
    it would be nice to know what is going on
