If you flip through the little booklet that comes with it, you will see how to do the hair. Find the hair you want, then follow the directions. I am thinking it is under the Creative Features, using the F1 feature for headwear.

This cartridge has so many options! The accessories are absolutely terrific! I have used the accessories more than the actual paper dolls themselves. The Halloween dolls are escpecially cute. I have boys and didn’t take a second look at this cartridge, I figured it was a girly cartridge. A friend had it so looked at the handbook and was pleasantly surprised.

Karen, You have to hit Creative Feature buttons, and then what you want to cut out. Some items have 2 creative features for the same character. You may need to hit the creative feature, then SHIFT and then the item. Your booklet should explain.

Can you make a 24 inch doll with “Paper Doll Dress Up” and Cricut Expression??? Help!! I need to make Big Dolls ;-)

I would think you could make something close to it if you have the 12 x 24 inch cutting mat. I would just put it on the biggest setting, and then if the machine beeps, it means it won’t do it….then just keep moving it down a size and trying it until it works.

I just bought this cartridge and I can’t wait to play with it. Can anyone tell me how I’d go about making a little cheerleader?

I have this cartridge and just love it. It was the first one I used with my cricut and it was pretty easy. I used the Leprechaun numerous times for St. Patty’s Day. The little booklet is super helpful and you shouldn’t have any problems making the cheerleader (just make sure the real size button is turned to OFF when printing the clothes and other items – that way they will automatically adjust to the dial size that you have set for your little person.) Good Luck!

So I love the paper dolls but to find the things you want is a pain in the @$$ if you know what I mean. My friend found a website where a lady went through every item in the book and explained what keys you had to push in what order to get what you wanted but when she printed out a page so she could go to the website later she didnt realize that the website did not print at the bottom of the page like it ususally does so now I am on the hunt for the website again. She said she had just gone from one site to another and just kept going from site to site so she has no clue where she found this information at. EEERRRRR If I ever find it again I will post it.

What is the best paper to use for the clothes. Scrapbook paper or card stock? I am going to make the dolls out of chipboard and then glue the face and body on.

Hi all,
Well as a new cricut owner I am really pleased with my new toy, and I hope I have the easy answer to these queries. I have the Every Day Paper Dolls cartridge, to make a doll is very easy if you follow the steps in this sequence.

The simple answer is cut everything for the doll in the same size as you cut the doll. So if your doll is 3″ then cut hair, shoes, dress whatever all on 3″ and it all fits. Doesn’t matter which style you pick and you can mix and match.

For those who like a longer explanation see below

First I discovered from a youtube video sorry cant remember the persons name how to number my book which makes life easy.

Start at the first actual page of cutouts and number it 1. Follow through the rest and number all following pages.

Since there are ten keys across your machine when you are looking for a particular page eg: 26 then you know it is on the 3rd line down and 6 keys in from the left.

akes much more sense when you watch the video.

So to make the doll – first load your paper into the machine ensuring you have the cartridge in place.

1. Decide on which version of the body that you want to cut out.

The difference is in the face, since I use pens to draw in the face – I use the
Blackout doll which is on Page 28 in the manual. However if you adopt the numbering system suggested it becomes page 1.

o load the paper press BLACKOUT button and then the body key which is on the 1st line and the first button from the left of the keypad.

2. Decide on the size of doll youwant and use the size dial to select it.

I have found 3″ is a good size for the cards I have been using – also not too small to start practising on. Press cut and hey presto one doll.

3. Next decide what you want to dress the doll.
To start with hair, load machine with appropriate paper colour, have a look at the manual and decide which hairstyle you want. To do the cheerleader hairstyle first select HEADWEAR then press the button on the third line down – two to the right. (Manual page 35 or No 22 in other system)

Check that you size dial is still on 3″ – I manage to change mine by accident when unloading and reloading paper.

Then press cut and there is your hair

3. You can then repeat this operation on each of the desired accessories.

One other thing it is very straight forward to cut several things at once by repeating the sequence.

So to cut two bodies at the same time press BLACKOUT then first key first line then repeat press BLACKOUT then first key first line – if you do not press blackout at the begining of the repeat the cricut will revert to the original paper doll on the left of the manual with a cut out face.

Hope this helps stumbling my way through and grateful for all the help I have received from other people

Happy to help out with other queries – if I know the answer

Happy cutting
