Life is a Beach would be the perfect way to introduce the Ocean in Motion learning units to our preschoolers in summer camp. This Cricut cartridge would be a great tool for both vocabulary development and creative art experiences. I certainly would love to win this product to use in my classrooms (and, of course, at home too.)

7 of my grandchildren live in Florida. I cherish the pics I get from them. I love to fill scrapbooks with memories of them growing. This cartridge would be wonderful. I miss them so much

  3. LisaB says:

My daughter wants to be a marine biologist and wants her bedroom to reflect marine life. This cartridge has all the designs I need to create stencils or cut outs to create the bottom of the ocean look that she is going for in her room. Down the road I can do a luau theme for her graduation party. Of course, I’ll use it for scrapbooking our time in Guam too.

Life’s a Beach is a wonderful cartridge. We live on the Maryland eastern shore where most every aspect of life is centered around water. There would be many projects for me to use this cartridge. The main project would be to make fun placements for my family, as well as gifts for friends. Using the different designs (the crab would be first used) could be cut from fun red/orange calico fabrics. Then appliqued on quilted fabric cut into large ovals. Sew a little bit of binding around the edge to complete it. My sister-in-law has a lighthouse obsession, and making her homemade lighthouse placemats would really be something special I could do for her.

This is a great summer time cartridge for anybody who enjoys the beach.

  5. Jean Creed says:

I would use this cartridge on my grandaughter’s album that I’m currently working on of the pics her and her DH took while he was stationed in Hawaii[US Army].

  6. Margie says:

my life is the beach since I was a little girl and now my son, now 37 and his family and of course grandma are always on the road to the beach. Just started up with cricut expression and love it. Expensive to collect all those fantastic cartridges and so would love a free one.

  7. Denise T says:

Living close to the Oregon coast makes this cartridge a must have and I get to go to Florida for the first time in June. Other uses: youth and children’s ministries, and making it available to our scrapbook group that meets once a month. What a wonderful giveaway since I just got a cricut this week!

  8. Wendi McTaggart says:

For my parents 25 wedding anniversary we took them on a cruise and suprised them by having them renew their wedding vows. What a perfect cartridge to create an album to display the memories of there vow renewal and tropical vacation.

  9. Cindy F says:

I have lots of beach trips to scrap and a trip to Hawaii. I can see a couple of projects for someone who loves dolphins and another using the lighthouse.

  10. Joanne G says:

I would love to use this to make coordinating flowers to embellish the BoBunny Maui Luau paper I just bought.

  11. Marjorie Weese says:

I googled “Cricut” this evening and came upon this wonderful opportunity to win the “Life’s a Beach” cartridge! This theme is long overdue and very timely! I would like to use this with my students (4th graders!) as well as in my home! I have recently started a beach theme in my bathroom and this is so perfect to embellish everything from frames to a shower curtain! I would like to do some of the images on the vinyl and frame the mirror that is currently very large and outdated! We live in SW Florida approx. 10 miles from the nearest beach! Sadly, many of my students rarely get to go to the beach so these images will be very exciting to them! Keep up the great designing, Cricut!! Thank you for this opportunity!

  12. Joseph Suto says:

Being new to the Cricut, mine just came this week; I am excited to expand my crafting using this form of media. The value of the cartridge is the range of summer fun activities that the collection represents.
I take Saturday or Sunday mornings each week to give my wife a break to sleep in from our 2 ½ year old Girl as Daddy Morning. Given this we usually do a craft together. I especially like the Jolly Jogger (Skull and cross bones) because we recognize this and many other Icons on this cartridge from the tales of the Backyardigans. All I can say is we would both appreciate the cartridge and the time spent together using it.
    Thanks,
    Joe

The Life’s a Beach cartridge showcases the diversity of sealife with delightful and elegant images. These images are so appealing in their calm playfulness that I feel, as a kindergraten teacher, that they are a perfect bridge for helping me to introduce my young students to a sophisticated concept, the history of life. I plan on using it to create a timeline of the development of life through the geological eras by presenting the images of Life’s a Beach in chronological order. The youngsters will undoubtedly be attracted to the timeline by the beautiful images, and this will help them internalize the lesson–life is beautiful (and so is it’s history:))!

  14. Laura M says:

I would use Life’s a Beach to document my childhood (I grew up in Morro Bay, CA), for summer birthday cards, for Ocean based ABC flashcards for my kindergartener, and to accent the summer months on the calendars that I make every year for our families of our passed year who live in the States (we are military and are unable to see them often….this is one of the ways we stay in their lives). I just think that it is an adorable, flexible cartridge that would get a lot of use!

  15. Jennifer says:

First of all, I live in South Florida and have aquired a taste for all things tropical: flamingos, flip-flops, and hibiscus. I also went on a honeymoon to Puerto Rico two years ago and I have yet to scrapbook it. I have the album with a tropical floral pattern and a few stickers. This would really work well with that particular scrapbook…I’m sure using the catridge would be so much fun. I could also see using it for future summer parties…..and cards to brighten any one’s day.

  16. Sheri Cash says:

If I had the Life’s a Beach cart I could make all the wonderful scenes we see while there and make cards to share with everyone. It would surely be a welcome addition to my Cricut family!

  17. Gretchen W says:

I would use life’s a beach cartridge to document our many adventures in the pool in the summer as well as our vacations to the beach in a scrapbook.

  18. Traci says:

I am new to cricut and I love it! It is so easy to use and I have so much fun the time just flies by. I only have one cartridge right now but I am hoping to get them all!

  19. Tammy Reeder says:

I would use this cartridge to help inspire me to work on my cruise scrapbook.

  20. Gayle Gross says:

Would love to do scrapbook pages about time spent on the beach, (my husband works summers supervising lifeguards at an ocean beach)…I used to live in an apartment building on the beach, and I would also be able to use it for teaching materials, as I am an educator.

  21. Kristen Pittman says:

This cartridge is all about where I live–the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida in the panhandle. I can’t wait to bring this cartridge to life in my own books with scenes of birthday parties, school days, and other fun-filled beach outings!

  22. Marti Eichman says:

I would use this cart for an upcoming charity event that my women’s group is sponsoring this September. Our theme is tropical.

  23. Nicole S says:

This cartridge looks great!! I am going on my first trip to Hawaii in March and this would be great for scrapbooking those special memories when I get home. Also, I’m from Detroit (Hockeytown) and the Red Wings are known for throwing an octopus on the ice….so the little octopus would be GREAT to scrapbook the wings drive for the Stanley Cup this year!!!

Looks like this is a good one!

  26. TJ Beaver says:

I am an avid scrapbooker! My grandchildren love the beach and go often to Padre Island and Port Aransas with my daughter and son-in-law. I get the photos from the trips and scapbook them for my daughter. This would make the pages easier for me to create.

  27. Rochelle Schossow says:

I would love to win the Life’s a Beach cartridge to scrapbook my upcoming 30th Birthday Cruise! If anyone could tell me how to cut a 12″ long border with my Cricut Expression I’d REALLY appreciate it! I’ve been working at it on and off for a couple of days and just can’t figure it out!
